Wonderful Greece (2021)

I painted this watercolor from life during my journey through Greece in 2021. I was fascinated by the extraordinary colors of the Mediterranean — the intense blue of the sea, the warm sunlit shore, white houses with red roofs, and a small sailboat gliding quietly across the water. I wanted to capture the brightness and freedom of that moment rather than every detail of the landscape. For me, this painting became a memory of Greece filled with sunlight, vivid colors, the freshness of the sea, and the joy of discovering a new place through painting.
