Andrii Kovalyk
Andrii Kovalyk is a Ukrainian artist based in Madrid, Spain. He creates expressive landscape paintings, often using his fingers to apply paint. His artistic vision is guided by a background in icon painting, and his works frequently incorporate gold to reflect Divine light, symbolizing the sacred in everyday life. Kovalyk's practice is also informed by cycling journeys across Europe, which open his eyes to the raw beauty of the world.
Kovalyk sees art as a bridge between earth and sky, time and eternity. Through his painting, he strives to reveal a quiet harmony that restores, purifies, and connects viewers to something greater. He has exhibited in various group exhibitions in Spain, Ukraine, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, and Georgia.
