Magic of Winter (2024)

I created this painting not as a depiction of a particular place, but as an expression of winter itself — its crisp freshness, luminous silence, and the magical atmosphere of a forest transformed by light and snow.

The work is created in my signature technique, applying paint with my fingers from a certain distance. The painting process becomes almost a performance — an intuitive form of action painting, like a ritual dance in which movement, rhythm, and energy become part of the artwork itself.

This technique requires a great deal of time and patience. The paint is built up in numerous layers, with each layer needing time to dry before the next can be applied. Gradually, this process creates an exceptionally rich, almost sculptural surface. For me, this physical texture is not merely decorative — it becomes a way of conveying the living energy and movement of nature.
