I created this painting during the first months after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Through the image of the Carpathian landscape, I wanted to express the deep pain, sadness, and emotional weight I felt during that time.

Nature became a reflection of my inner state — a landscape transformed into a space of grief, silence, and contemplation.

This painting is sold and is now part of a private collection in Hong Kong.
